AACP Anatomy of Acupuncture - Keele, Staffordshire - November 2019

Go Back

Hosted by the world class Keele Anatomy and Surgical Training Centre (Keele University School of Medicine) this course utilises a combination of state of the art 3D software and presentations combined with practical needling scenarios with hands-on interaction with genuine cadavers and anatomical models to facilitate a multifaceted learning experience. Lead by Luke Welsh (Teaching Fellow in Anatomy) and Jon Hobbs (AACP accredited tutor) this course is designed for Chartered Physiotherapists who wish to expand their theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of human anatomy in relation to the clinical application of acupuncture. Participants should be CSP and HCPC registered and have already successfully undertaken a recognised acupuncture foundation course. See what previous delegates have said about this course: I attended the "Anatomy for Acupuncture with 3D software at Keele University Anatomy Department. The lecturers were very knowledgeable and there was lots of practical time with the cadaverous material and needles, well worth the cost and the travel time - I would thoroughly recommend this course and all physios would benefit from an update of real anatomy. -Damaris Eliot I would just like to say what a brilliant course I went on on Saturday, the Anatomy for Acupuncture at Keele university with John Hobbs and Luke from the anatomy department. It was one of the most useful courses I have been on for a long time and, although a more expensive, was definitely worth it. Should definitely be run again. To be able to see the human anatomy on cadavers and look at key points related to it was brilliant. Thank you -Helen Nash The course was fantastic, great tutors, so interesting again (after 30 years!) and of course with all that clinical experience, it was a great reminder of the wonders of anatomy! I’d highly recommend it to all. Thank you to Jon and Luke for a superb day. -Sarah Babbs Please log-in to access the discounted members’ rate.
