Cyberpsychology; a pluralistic approach to therapeutic communication

Go Back

In this workshop we will explore how a pluralistic approach to communication and expression, one that embraces digital technologies can be incredibly powerful for clients and can actively enhance therapeutic outcomes. We will explore differences between visual, digital and verbal communication. I’ll share research and case study examples showing how the use of a variety of mediums (art, play, photography, texting, email, WhatsApp) have been beneficial and have enhanced the therapeutic process, with particular reference to working with trauma.
