Group Supervision and Networking for Couples Therapists

Go Back

About the workshop: This half-day day event is aimed at developing a national supervision network of Couples Therapists. There is a growing demand for high quality couples-based supervision, and this is our ongoing event aimed at linking CBCT therapists with each other for the purpose of discussing cases and exchanging ideas about service delivery.

Aims: The event will include the opportunity for group case discussion. Any couples-based intervention is welcome (Couples Therapy, Disorder-Specific Interventions, Partner-Assisted Interventions). We could also hold roundtable discussions on service-delivery issues, including IAPT, NHS and Private-PracticeBased topics. This will provide an excellent opportunity for couples therapists and potential supervisors to get to know one another in order to develop a couples-based supervisory network.

Participants: The event is for clinicians working with couples in any setting (IAPT, Primary/Secondary Care, charities, private practice, etc.). An interest in working with couples is more important than experience. All levels of skill and experience are welcome to attend.
