Lived Experience as a voice hearer

Go Back

What is it like to hear voices? Despite the fact that 10% of the population reports hearing voices (auditory hallucinations) at some point in their life, voice hearing remains a widely misunderstood experience. This event will focus on understanding the origin, meaning, and purpose of voice hearing in the context of someone’s life. Furthermore, as a voice hearer herself, Alison will talk about how, with the support of the Hearing Voices Network, she was able to find meaning in her voices and build a constructive relationship with them.
