Working with Transactional Analysis (TA)

Go Back

Transactional Analysis (TA) is a counselling model that is such a useful tool for all therapists.  Not only does it help break down a person’s psyche into understandable and workable chunks, but it also aids communication.

As an experienced BACP accredited counsellor tutor Claire Walsh still heavily uses TA in her work but TA is not just for the experienced therapist it is also ideal for the beginner.

If you are a therapist working with people in any capacity,  want greater self-awareness or are already a counsellor but not sure now to use TA – this workshop is for you.

This one-day workshop is a mixture of theory and practical work built around giving you confidence to use your new found skills immediately.

On the workshop you will learn:

  • What exactly TA is, and how to use it effectively.
  • How TA looks at communication and how to use this method for the benefit of self and others
  • Understanding your own internal dialogue
  • Helping others to understand their own internal dialogue
  • Understanding the importance of our blueprint and how to work with it
