True to their marketing campaign, Nimble integrates social media like no other CRM programme does, making it a great choice for practitioners, such as complementary therapists, who want to be constantly promoting their services and interacting with their current and potential clients.

Cost: $9 Nimble Contact per user/month, $19 Nimble Business per user/month

At first login, the home page appears to be a social media dashboard, but the tabs on top reveal its CRM functionalities. The dashboard navigation is easy and intuitive. Every tab pops up with a video tutorial/demonstration when you first click on it, showing you how you can maximise your use of Nimble’s features. Contacts are easy to enter and retrieve through any data field. Email integration is also quick and easy to set up.

Nimble’s social media features are comprehensive. You simply log onto a home screen that lists birthdays, job changes and engagements (these are integrated into the system via any social media sites which you are signed into via Nimble) and then you can carry out all your marketing activity from one place. The only slight problem is that sometimes you might find you have duplicate contacts as Nimble does not always find every network for one particular contact, so can replicate them. Apart from this minor niggle, the social media function is probably the best feature of Nimble and can optimise your marketing and networking opportunities.

Nimble is a cloud-based application which allows you to manage your contacts, calendar, activities and marketing in one place. It will sync to your Google calendar and there is also a Nimble Mobile app for iOS devices.

Aimed at the small business market, Nimble is a very good CRM and offers good value-for-money. If you’re a therapist who does not use social media (e.g. psychotherapist or counsellor), this programme probably isn’t for you, but if you want to be in the social media spotlight and get your business noticed, Nimble could be right up your street.
