Really Simple Systems

The Really Simple Systems CRM solution seems to adhere to the name and is ideal for sole practitioners who want something which is easy to use and streamlines their practice. An online review puts it rather succinctly by stating that it is “a very solid “meat and potatoes” app that provides a nice mix of needed functionality and ease of use”. It is an extremely efficient CRM solution for small businesses that are starting out and have not yet solidified their needs.

Free trial: Yes (There is a free version available with no time limit. For additional features and for support, an upgrade to higher-end version is required).

Cost: Starter version - £9 per user/per month, Professional version - £20 per user/per month, Enterprise version £32 per user/per month (all billed annually).

Logging into the free edition is simple and you’re welcomed by a dashboard which is easy to navigate. There are some video tutorials and Really Simple Systems also sends out emails promoting its weekly webinars, which can help you continue to fine-tune your skills in using the software. This bare-bones structure of Really Simple Systems is probably one of its negative aspects, as the basic functionality makes certain tasks (such as setting up a contact without setting up an account) difficult.

Though some simpler additional features, such as email client integration, are included, other features, such as social media integration and mobile platform availability aren′t. In their attempt to make the software user-friendly, Really Simple Systems seems to have sacrificed depth of functionality.

Overall, Really Simple Systems provides a quick and easy-to-use interface, which can be accessed remotely wherever you have an internet connection. The software is free to use for a limited number of accounts (e.g. companies you deal with) but you have to pay for additional features. It also lacks social media integration, which could be a problem if this is a key aspect of your marketing plan.

The best thing about Really Simple Systems is that the basic version is free, so there is no loss in signing up for it and giving it a trial run. This will give you a good idea if it can meet your needs and if you want to upgrade to a paid version.
