Sendinc is a web-based email encryption service that claims to use ‘Military-grade’ encryption on all your messages and attachments. You can also use it as an Add-In for Microsoft Outlook, allowing you to send and receive encrypted emails from your usual email provider. Like most of these services, it is also fully HIPAA compliant.

The most outstanding feature of Sendinc is that its Basic package is absolutely free of charge. With the Basic Package, you can send and receive encrypted messages of up to 10MB per message, to a maximum of 20 recipients per day. You’ll also have 100MB of message storage.

Although this is a great feature, 20 recipients is a small number, even for sole practitioners. To overcome this, you can choose the Pro package. This costs $48 a year for each user and allows you to send encrypted messages, of up to 200MB each, to 200 recipients per day. In addition, you’ll get 10GB message storage. The Pro Package would cover the needs of most small therapy business at a very reasonable price.

If you need more than one user, you should opt for the Business package. You pay for 5 users as a minimum, with the same benefits as the Pro Package, priced at $48 per year for each user.

It’s really easy to create an account, just enter your email address and password on their website. Once your account is created, no further software is required for recipients, and you won’t be bothered by any advertisements or spyware.

Overall, to get the most out of Sendinc, it is worth signing up for the Pro package. At only $48 a year per user it is very affordable and will cover all your email encryption requirements.
